Friends of Sarawak Museum has a small, but select library. These books can be borrowed for up to a month by members. The book list is available and can be obtained by emailing the Secretary at fosmuseum@gmail.com.

Sarawak has museums across the state under the care of the Sarawak Museum Department (Jabatan Muzium Sarawak)

The Brooke Gallery at Fort Margherita is a joint project with the Sarawak Museum and the Brooke Heritage Trust.
The Beccari Centenary Celebration marked the centenary of Odoardo Beccari’s death. He was a renowned Italian explorer and botanist who arrived in Sarawak in June 1865. He collected thousands of plant and animal specimens which are held in museums around the world. This celebration was funded by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Sarawak.

Heritage Snippets from Sarawak
In 2022 Anita Guha-MacGillivray, who has been actively involved with Friends of Sarawak Museum since its inception, agreed to be the editor and liaison with the online newspaper the DayakDaily.com.
The paper approached us with the idea of contributing articles on Sarawak’s heritage. This was enthusiastically embraced and for about two years we had a column in this paper.
